Mark Andrew Maloney

Born in Melrose, MA on September 11, 1969. Mark was the youngest son, one of four children,

of the late Donald and Dorothy Maloney, Wakefield MA. Mark grew up in Wakefield MA and

attended the Northeast Vocational High School in Wakefield where he majored in the carpentry

program. Mark earned many awards for his carpentry, teaching as many students as he could

his profession. Many clients have Mark’s amazing carpentry projects in their homes. He built

many homes and completed much remodeling in his short lifetime. His life was in his work in his

fine carpentry and building to owning his own successful company, Maloney Handyman

Services LLC in Lakewood CO.

Mark was a kind hearted person and family man. He loved nothing more than spending time

with his friends and family. He moved to Colorado in the 1980s but always kept in touch with his

roots in Wakefield where he still has many friends. Mark loved his cooking, fishing and camping

in his fifth wheel up in the mountains in Colorado. He had a love of all the Boston sports and

spent many days sitting on his patio with his friend Shane smoking cigars and watching the

games while he grilled. Like his Dad, he always cooked enough for an army and invited anyone

over for a good dinner. Mark grew up and spent many years at Hampton Beach NH where his

family spent many summers and where his parents met. All he looked forward to doing was

fishing. Mark’s warmth, kindness and lending hand will be missed by all.

Mark was the beloved husband of Laurel Matthes and father to his loving son and joy of his

lifetime Lucas A Maloney of Applewood CO. Loving brother of Michele Doucette Gould,

Kennebunkport ME, Matthew Maloney, Arvada, CO and Murray Maloney, wife Janet Littleton

CO. He leaves his best friends Shane Matthes and Jesse Matthes. He leaves his nephews

Andrew Maloney and wife Jill, Derek Gould and wife Katie, Kyle Gould and Zachary Maloney.

Mark also leaves his beloved dogs Maliki, Mookie and Cayanne as well as many family and

friends in Massachusetts including his best friends Mike Walker and Glenn Smith
