Manuel “Manny” Levine passed away peacefully in his bed of natural causes at Morning Star Memory Center in Parker, Colorado on Tuesday 12/27/22 at the age of 87. He was loved and supported by his family up until his final breath.
Manny was born on April 25, 1935, in Bronx, New York to Abe and Sally Levine where he lived with his parents and two brothers Marvin and Norman.
Manny had an illustrious career. He served in the United States Air Force from 1953-1957 where he was honorably discharged. He graduated from Hunter City College where he soon began work as a CPA. He served in various firms throughout his career and retired from his own firm Levine, Hughes & Methuen. Levine, Hughes & Methuen generously supported the Never Hit a Child Campaign and Manny regularly gave to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Doctors Without Borders and the American Heart Association.
In his free time, Manny loved to fish, watch the Broncos and philosophize about life’s wonders.
Manny is survived by his children Deborah Doty (Jeff Doty) and David Levine (Laura Rowlen); grandchildren Chelsey Doty, Amy Knight (Terrell Knight) and Elise Levine; and his great-grandchildren Ava, Abigail, Benjamin and Annabelle Knight.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Levine; brothers Marvin and Norman; parents and numerous friends.
A memorial service for Manny will be held on Monday January 2, 2023 at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave in Wheat Ridge, CO. The service will be held at 2 PM with a burial at Fort Logan to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville be considered.
