Kerry Michael Repola was born on March 24th, 1962 to Gary and Carolyn Repola in Raton, New Mexico. He passed away on December 8th, 2024, at his home in Littleton, CO surrounded by his loving family. He was 62 years old.
Kerry, his sister Dawn and his parents moved to Aurora Colorado in 1965. He graduated from Gateway High School in 1980 and enjoyed cross country running and other sports activities. He attended Arapahoe Community College and the University of Colorado. After college he began working for Golder Associates.
In his first marriage, Kerry’s son Cheston was born in 1989. Kerry married Kathie Sandusky in 1998 and became a stepfather to Ryan and Kyle. Kathie and Kerry were married more than 26 years and lived in Littleton, CO. He began working for Advanced Terra Testing (ATT) as soils’ laboratory manager during this time. In 2019, Kerry became an owner of ATT, providing testing of rock, soil and geosynthetic materials.
Kerry loved to take photographs, play golf, hunt, fish, coach, snorkel, race RC cars, ride bikes and spend time with his grandkids. Every opportunity he had he loved watching his children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren play all manner of sports and to also spend time with his wife, Kathie, traveling and camping in their RV. He enjoyed all the outdoors from the mountains to the beaches.
He was sadly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2020 and battled strongly through many various treatments. His goal was to create as much time as possible with his family. He was so loved by his family and many friends all of whom feel blessed for this time with him.
Kerry was a loving father to Ryan (Emily), Kyle (Cindy) and Cheston (Stefani) and an even more amazing grandfather. His six grandchildren: Sara (10), Mason (9), Gryffin (9), Rownin (7), Leah (6) and Kerri (4) will remember him and all the fun and love he shared with them. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Repola and sister, Dawn Repola.
Grandpa Kerry will be deeply missed by his wife Kathie, his mother Carolyn and all his dear friends and family. He will forever live in our hearts!
