KEN'S REPRODUCTIONS:Ken's Reproductions was founded in 1963 by Ken Typher. He opened his doors with two employees and 1,000 square feet of
rented space in the Old Continental Oil Building on 18th Street. This space was occupied for approximately one year servicing clients with quality blue-line prints. In 1964, due to the need for additional space and moreequipment, the business was relocated to 1855 Welton Street.Ken's Reproductions remained at this location for ten years.During this time services were expanded to include photographic products and offset printing. As the city continued to grow so did the client base. With 23,000 square feet the business has adequate space to grow and keep up with the demand for new products, services and technology. In 1992 after thirty one years in the reprographic industry Ken Typher retired. Although he was no longer active in the business he remained a partner with his son Bruce Typher. From its inception Ken's Reproductions has striven for quality and service. God saw he was getting tired and the cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him and whispered, “Come with me”. With tearful hearts we watched him fade away. Although, we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.
