Juan Luis Zamora, Jr. passed away the morning of Friday, January 27th 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Born on October 4th, 1934, he was raised in La Junta, Colorado, and served proudly in the Air Force during the Korean War. Juan is survived by his wife, Nancy; his daughters, Tanya, Nina, Gloria, and Mindy; his brother, Isaac; his sister, MaryLou and her children Becky, Denise, Marisa, and Vincent; and 12 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father, Juan Zamora, Sr. and his brother Joe. Juan had a passion for Jazz music, dancing, and cooking. He could be found during the day making green chili and burritos, and burning the night away with his Salsa dancing. Juan also had a love of animals, children, and the Denver Broncos. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Juan will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations may go to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
