Cynthia Cary

Cynthia Lou Cary, age 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 4th at St Anthony’s Hospital. She was surrounded by family and friends. Cindy was born in the Denver area on May 21, 1963 to Marvin and Phyllis Eicher. She grew up in Harvey Park and later moved into the Bear Creek area to start her high school journey. She graduated from Bear Creek High School in 1981. She then attended college at Red Rocks Community College and studied accounting. She grew up with three sisters and two brothers. In her younger years she met lifelong friends who were with her till the very end. Although great children, Cindy and her friends did occasionally find themselves getting into mischievous situations. Cynthia was all about the people that were present in her life. She had three kids who she loved more than life itself and became a grandmother, which was the joy of her life. Cindy was competitive and loved playing games and would not be happy unless she was winning no matter what the game was. If you could beat her in a leg wrestle, she would consider you the king or queen of the family. It is safe to say she passed away being the queen of the family with an undefeated record. In her world she loved music playing at all times, was a fan of every genre, and would always be looking for new music to dance to. Cindy loved motorcycle rides (Harleys only), muscle cars, and would never pass up an opportunity to take a ride down the road. She cared about her family and friends and if she was not with them, she was not happy. She met her husband in 1991 in Colorado and got married on July 17, 1993, to Jeffrey Cary. In July of 2023 they would have been married for 30 years. Cindy spent a lot of her adult years being a caregiver to her father, Marvin and cherished every minute that she had with him. He was truly her role model. Cindy would share everything she had, even her home. Her door was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay and anyone who did stay with her, and her family knew they could count on her to make them feel right at home. Cindy is survived by her husband, Jeff; her son Steven, daughter Sarah (Seth) and their daughter Emma, and her son Skyler (Rachel); and siblings: Cheryl Castor, Cathy Poorman (Mark), and Marvin Eicher (Kim), John Eicher. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Marvin and Phyllis, her brother, Dale Kinney and her sister, Sandy Petrelli. Cindy was loved by many and will be missed forever.
