Christopher “Chris” Tomas Tenorio was a bright star whose light could fill any room. His smile was radiant, his ear always open to listen, and his shoulder always there to lean on. Chris loved everyone and everything. He was the kind of person who drew people in with his character, charisma, and welcoming nature. This warmth extended beyond people. Animals, especially those lost and in need, seemed drawn to him instinctively. From chinchillas to pit bulls, Chris welcomed all creatures into his home. Animals sensed in him the qualities we all knew he had—love, loyalty, and an unwavering commitment to putting others before himself.
Chris had a deep passion for Kung-Fu, which began with playful practice on his siblings, and grew into dedicated study, earning him a black belt.
Christopher is survived by his mother Victoria (Kevin) Charmichael, father George (Lynne) Tenorio, life partner Michelle Hammack, siblings Rongene (Frankie) Wilcox, Skyla (Joey) Hayes, Ashley (Mark) Meyer, Jamie (Ryan) Charmichael, Levi (Stephanie) Charmichael, Grandparents Margie Molina, Tomas Valdez, Mary Charmichael, George and Phyllis Tenorio and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by grandfather Richard Charmichael and uncle Kurt Charmichael, Great-Grandpa Raymond Ramirez, Great-Grandma Mary Pacheco, and Great-Grandpa Kate Tenorio
We will always cherish our memories of him. No one can take his place, and each of us will carry forward his legacy in our own way. We will miss his love, his voice, and the light he brought into this world. Let us celebrate his life rather than mourn his loss. A piece of his heart is forever fused with ours—he is always with us, now and forever. To you, Chris Tenorio! We honor you and count ourselves among the luckiest people to have been a part of your life. May we hug, laugh and talk again some day.
