Bernice Gwendolyn Teichert, age 89, passed away February 12, 2019. Bernice was born and raised in Nebraska, moving to Denver in 1951. She married Bob Teichert in 1960 and the couple raised three children. Bernice was a longtime member of Corona Presbyterian Church.
Bernice is survived by her children: Karl (Jenny) Teichert and Robin Hall; grandchildren: Ann Teichert, Scott Teichert, Stephen Teichert, John Teichert, Sara (Kyle) Collins and Crystal (Leonard) Brownell; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings: Marion Toillion, Glenn Koch and Darlene (Robert) Olson. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Paul.
Bernice enjoyed skiing, the mountains, fishing, swimming, gardening and sewing. Her dreams and desires were to go to college, get a job, get married, raise a family, be a good friend and neighbor, and help make a better world. She enjoyed praying, reading the Bible, and growing her Christian faith and life. She thanked God in Jesus Christ for the love, joy, peace, hope and guidance He had given her to meet the challenges in traveling down the road of life.
