Alfred (Fred) was born July 29, 1947 in Fort Morgan, CO. He was retired and enjoyed going to the flea market and bumming around at the pawn shops. He enjoyed family time and gathering with friends to play bingo and go to the casinos. He loved volunteering, traveling, sightseeing and riding roller coasters. He was a 20 year cancer survivor and enjoyed life to the fullest.
He was survived by his children Alfred Jr. and Dion Castillo; siblings Joseph, Monica and Anthony Castillo; grandchildren Dominic, Donovan and Melissa Castillo and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Bruno Castillo, mother Josephine Hijar and brother Raymond Castillo.
He was well loved by all and will be missed dearly.
A visitation for Alfred will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 4, 2022 at 9:30 AM and a committal service will follow at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
