Audrey Wine Bosserman

Audrey Wine Bosserman went to her heavenly home on October 19, 2023. She was born April 26, 1924 in Mount Sidney, Virginia, to the late Emmett and Effie Cline Wine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 59 years, Luther E. Bosserman; her sisters, Leona Wine Link and Leda Wine; her brothers, Tracy D. Wine, Ralph E. Wine, and Stanley M. Wine. Audrey is survived by two daughters, Kaye Bosserman Odum and her husband, Jerry, and Kim Bosserman Speer and her husband, John; one granddaughter, Katelyn Speer; and one sister, Alma Wine Landes; and several nieces and nephews. Audrey's greatest passions were her dedication to God, her love of family and her joy of cooking. She loved when her girls came home and she took great pleasure in preparing a meal for family and friends. She was an active member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren throughout her adult life. She enjoyed participating in the church's missions giving of herself to help those who were less fortunate. God and family know she was truly a good and faithful servant. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, Weyers Cave, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cemetery Fund, Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, Weyers Cave, Virginia.
