Sophie was predeceased by her first husband William Ostafichuk (1977); children George William Janie Lily and Beverley Ostafichuk; second husband Adam Honig (2002). Parents Peter and Mary Drefko and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Sophie will be forever loved and cherished by her daughters MaryAnn (Jess) Galarneau of Portage la Prairie, MB and her children Anita (Deceased), Giselle and Clive; Victoria (Grant) Ritchie of Calgary, Alberta and her children Jason (Shannon) and Tyania; Darlene (Ken Deceased) Cox of Squamish, British Columbia and her children Kendra and Harrisen; EllaMae Ostafichuk of Kelowna, British Columbia and her son Jeff (Renee); 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; 3 brothers, 5 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Prayers for Sophie will be said on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Chapel Weyburn, Saskatchewan and the Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Father Valentine Amboi presiding. Interment will follow mass at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Tribune, Saskatchewan with Honourary Pallbearers being all of Sophie's grandchildren.
