Olga Turianska, 73, of Wethersfield CT, formerly of Cherry Hill NJ, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Newington Rapid Recovery. Born in the Ukraine on May 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Mykola and Kateryna. Olga was a radiology technician, working at Jefferson Radiology for many years until her retirement.
Olga moved to the States when she was just 2 years old to Chester, PA and then later settled in Cherry Hill, NJ. She was a lover of all animals, particularly her cats. She enjoyed gardening, reading, all things Christmas and was an avid Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fan.
Olga was also a woman of great faith and a beloved child of God. Her faith, which helped her overcome her battle with breast cancer, was the most important thing to her and was very evident by her love for others and how she faithfully served in her church. She was an extremely gracious, caring and humble woman who always put others first.
Olga is survived by her sisters, Eugenia Romeo of Wethersfield and Helen Cichanowsky of Aston, PA, her nephews Matthew, John, Marko, Andrew, Yuri, Peter, Walter and Lesia. She was predeceased by her sister Antonina Sioma, her two brothers-in-law Nicholas Cichanowsky and Anthony Romeo and her nephew Ted Nadzio.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12th at 11:30 a.m. outside of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 520 Kings Hwy S., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
