Anibal Nunez

Anibal Nunez, 69, of Wethersfield, beloved husband for 20 years of Quetcy (Roche) Nunez, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Born in Aibonito, PR on January 15, 1955, he was the son of the late Hipolito and Modesta (Rosario) Nunez. Anibal was an employee of the Hartford Courant distribution department, retiring after more than 30 years of dedicated service.

Anibal was an avid fan of the New York Giants. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Anibal will be forever missed by his six children, Engel Ramos, Jorge Ramos, Casey Ann Ramos and fiancé Alexander Riley, Naggie Jimenez and husband Israel Jimenez, Jessica Ramos and partner Aaren Green, and Ricardo Davila and wife Jen Davila and his five adored grandchildren. He will also live on in the hearts of his siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 15 from 12-2 p.m. concluding with a Prayer Service at 2 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt.
