Our deepest sympathies and condolences to John, Kristen and Matthew. My husband, George, and I came to know Theresa because of Joy Mass. We were so fortunate to have met her. Theresa's smile would light up a room. She would embrace you and say I love you. I am missing my prayer sister and friend. Your kind words of wisdom, love and hope I will treasure forever!  I know that you are resting in peace with the Lord. But I am missing you and wishing I could hear you speak to me once more! I love you Theresa!

My condolences to John and the entire family.  I was part of the Joy Mass community when I lived in New York.  May she rest in the arms of Jesus and may we all reunite one day.

I am missing my friend and prayer sister...she was a sweet and kind person, always positive and hopeful.  We will miss her and send our prayers to her husband and children.

So sad to hear of Thersa's passing.  She truly was a saintly woman whom I had the honor to know and work with in Dumont.  My sincere sympathy.

Theresa was God's gift to me when my children were young and I needed a responsible babysitter.  She was not just responsible, but also very loving.  I was so sad to learn of her passing, and I know that she will be so missed by her family and friends.  Hopefully, you will celebrate and pay tribute to her life in the way you pass on her love.

I too went to St. Mary's and Holy Angels with Theresa.  We were also in Brownies and Girl Scouts together.  She was always a gentle, sweet girl who turned into an amazing woman.  I saw her last at my Dad's wake in 2013 and was so shocked to hear of her passing this week.  I send my condolences to her husband and children as well as her Mom, sister and brother.  She will be missed.

my sincerest sympathies to the corcoran family. i went to st. mary's and holy angels with theresa. i last spoke with her at my father's wake in march, which she was so kind to attend. her typical warmth made me feel better. i will miss bumping into her around town. truly one of the kindest, caring people i have known. i'm so sorry for your loss and the loss of her students.

The world will be a poorer place without Theresa.  She will walk in peace.

Theresa and I went to Saint Mary's grammar school together. Good, holy priests, teachers, and parents, planted the seed of our Catholic faith. Theresa's soul was rich soil, which produced much fruit. Theresa carried the love of Jesus to others with joy. She is the only person I ever met, who greeted you with the words: "I love you". These were not idle or superficial words, but were spoken sincerely, from the heart.

The volunteers at New Hope a very saddened by Theresa's passing. She was a good and faithful servant.  May God reward her for her faithfulness. She was dedicated to her faith, and dedicated to pro-life.  Theresa wore her rosary beads as a bracelet, was a sidewalk counselor at the the abortion mills, and a faithful New Hope volunteer.  She was a great mentor and loved everyone she met. And she told them so.  If you were with Theresa she never left you without saying how much she loved you. Theresa was one of a kind, so loving, thoughtful, and caring. She had a deep faith and was willing to help any and everyone. I remember when our dog toto had to be put to sleep (who you all had taken care of for us) she wanted us to wait until she could get there to say goodbye. And we all cried together! We send our love to your family, I know she is with God and watching over all of you!

The eternal light will guide you to your next journey and may it provide comfort to you family in their darkest hour.

I was lucky enough to be Theresa's classmate at Holy Angels. As I mentioned to other alums earlier today, my heart sank when I heard the news of her passing -- and I instantly pictured Theresa the way I remember her from 1977: a gentle and easy spirit, a warm and kind heart for all, and the most welcoming smile.  I am so sorry for her family and all who loved her.

These quotes do not even begin how we (especially our son) feel about Mrs. Corcoran.  Mrs. Corcoran had such a positive impact on our son.  She made him feel valued, loved, and intelligent.  She listened to him and really understood him.  (She even made a cake for his birthday!) She gave of herself so willingly and selflessly.  We are terribly saddened by her passing.  We wish her family, friends, and students peace.  Thank you Mrs. Corcoran you are forever in our hearts.

The Dumont Education Association is deeply sadden by the loss of our colleague and friend,Theresa.  Theresa was a gifted and respected teacher for years  influenced the students under her care. We wish to express our sincere sympathies to her family during this most difficult time.

I knew Theresa from our younger days at st Mary's . She, Sue D and I attended the Saturday morning program for special needs people. She was one in a million, and I will always love her. I am saddened by her passing. May you receive blessings and healing in your faith. Theresa, take care of our kids up there!

Theresa was my dear friend for more than 10 years.  We were spiritual sisters and I could always count on Theresa to pray for me or my family.  Her family meant the world to her and she loved and prayed for her husband and children at all times.  We attended workshops, Rosary Rallies, Pro-Life Rallies and most especially Fransican Friars of the Renewal Retreats and lay associates days in Newark together. She loved Our Lord Jesus and I have no doubt that she is with Him today in the Kingdom.  I will miss you and will continue to pray and light candles for you my dear sister!  Love you, Sunday

May you be comforted by Jesus in His Divine Mercy and cradled in the arms of His Blessed Mother during this most difficult time. I never met anyone who trusted in God more than Theresa. She was a woman of tremendous faith and prayer and an inspiration who never failed to help a family member or advocate for the unborn. She loved God and her family so very much.
