A healer, mentor and lover of the sea. Tana Elizabeth Quigley, 35, of Brick, NJ passed away Wednesday, March 14th along with her unborn son, Parker. Tana was born and raised in Woodcliff Lake, NJ before moving to be closer to her great love, the ocean. Tana was a Psychotherapist, a competitive dancer and dance instructor. Her passion was healing troubled minds and mentoring young girls in the art of dance. Tana touched and impacted many lives though her therapy practice at Sea Glass Counseling and Wellness Center, and as a dance instructor at Maywood Dance Center and Lynn’s Dance Connection.
Tana received dual degrees from Montclair State University in Phycology and Fine Arts; and received her Master’s degree in Social Psychology at NYU. Her practice which she co-founded, Sea Glass Counseling and Wellness Center, was dedicated to family practice and the healing of women who suffered from abusive behavior.
During this busy life Tana dedicated her time to form Productions for a Cause, a non-profit foundation designed to provide healing through the art of dance. The foundation raised funds to support programs for autism and domestic violence victims.
Tana was the youngest child to Eugene and Elizabeth Quigley, she was a loving sister (sister-in-law) to Gene Jr. Quigley (Cecelia) and Melissa Deleon (Kevin). She was a devoted wife to Chris Campana and caring step mother to Jaiden and Alexa. Over the years, Tana was blessed to be an aunt to four nephews and one niece: Patrick, Justin, Gavin, Chase and Grey. Tana loved her family and touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with in a positive way.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 22, 6-9pm and Friday March 23, 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd. Westwood, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 24, 10am, at Our Lady Mother of the Church in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
