Richard J. Pavone, 79, of River Vale, NJ, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary-Anne Pavone. Devoted father of Andrea Velthaus and her husband Stephen, and Richard A. Pavone and his wife Carey. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Michael, Lindsay, Dominick and Julian. Richard was a proud member of the River Vale Volunteer Fire Department.
The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM, with a Fire Department Service at 8PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Richard’s life and faith will be held at Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ on Friday at 9:30AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Twp. of Washington, NJ (Please Note: Masks are required at Garden of Memories). In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Richard’s name to the River Vale Fire Department Association, 330 Rivervale Road, River Vale, NJ 07675.
