Maureen T. Fay

FAY, Maureen T., 50, of Fuquay Varina, NC, formerly of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Englewood, NJ to Eileen Fay (Murphy) of Wyckoff and the late Thomas Fay. Devoted mother of Ryan Meckler of Wilmington, NC, Brendan and Rosemary Meckler, both of Hillsdale, NJ. Dear sister of Daniel Fay and his wife Mary Jane of York Harbor, ME, James Fay and Karen of Ridgefield, NJ, and Kerry Craffey and her husband Jim of Allendale, NJ as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Maureen was a Respiratory Therapist at Hackensack University Medical Center for 20 years. When not busy making memories with family and friends, Maureen loved motorcycle riding, country music and anything Irish. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, November 14 from 2-4 and 6-8PM. The Memorial Mass celebrating Maureen’s life and faith will be held at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ on Saturday, November 15 at 12PM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Meckler Children Education Trust Fund c/o Kerry Craffey, 20 Fox Run Road, Allendale, NJ 07401.
