NEMES, Mary Theresa “Tessie”, 86, of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017. She was born in Astoria, NY to Frank and Inez Mele. Beloved wife of the late William R. Nemes. Devoted mother of Karen Lesneski and her husband Gary, Kevin Nemes, Bill Nemes, Francis Louis Nemes and his wife Laurie, Inez Lewis and her husband Andrew. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Jolene, Daniel, Kevin, Paul, Michael, William, Mikayla, Andrew, Melanie and Julia. Cherished great grandmother of Chanelle, Sadie, Matalyn, Victoria, Lucas and Leo. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her sister and brother, Angela and Robert Mele. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, May 25 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Mary’s life and faith will be held at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ on Friday, May 26 at 10:30AM. Cremation will be private.
