Kelly, Kevin S., 57, of Summit, NJ, passed away suddenly, surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, February 12th, 2022. His legacy will continue to live on through his organ donations. He was born the son of George and Barbara Kelly on October 7th, 1964, in Ft. Riley, KS. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 30 years, Shiobian and his cherished children Matthew and his wife Ellen, Keegan Marie and Christopher. He is also survived by his mother Barbara, brother Michael, father in-law Timothy Keohane, sisters in-law Patricia Oates, Jamie and Suzanne Keohane and brothers in-law Timothy Keohane and Michael Oates, as well as 7 nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father George, mother in-law Ellen Keohane as well as his granddaughter Kennedy Marie.
Kevin attended Villanova University, where he received his B.S. in Accounting. Following his graduation, he began his career in public accounting, spending the last 23 years at Atalanta Sosnoff Capital as COO, CFO and CCO.
He loved spending time with his children, their significant others and friends. Some of his favorite things included Villanova Basketball, Bruce Springsteen, golf, cooking and entertaining for family and friends, as well as traveling the world with his wife.
Kevin was impressive in the amount of dedication he had to making the lives around him better. For him, it wasn't about having a place to live, but rather having a place to live with friends. He was never one to ignore a friend in need; he cared enough to make the effort to be there.
Well-wishers and friends are invited to pay their respects to Kevin at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Friday, February 18th from 4-8PM.
