Kathleen T. Pareti

Pareti, Kathleen T."Kay" (nee McGuire) passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Devoted wife of the late Alfred Pareti; loving mother of Mary Jean Conroy (James) and Robert Pareti (Carole); loving grandmother of Kristen Sutter (James), Kate Bloom (William), Matthew Conroy (Lisa Brockway), Andrew Pareti (Jessica), and Allison Pareti; great-grandmother of Avery and Reagan Sutter, Mara Bloom, and Austin Pareti. Kay leaves many loving nieces and nephews and a great many friends. Kay was preceded in death by her parents James and Celia McGuire, her siblings Marge Clark, Marian Barry, James McGuire, John McGuire, Aileen Grigis, and Patricia Rock. She was born and raised in Rock Rapids, Iowa and at various times in her life she lived in Minneapolis (MN), Union City (NJ), Park Ridge (NJ), Alexandria (VA), Lancaster (PA), and River Vale (NJ). Her ever-present and infectious smile coupled with her warm and welcoming outlook affected all who knew her. She leaves a legacy of love and kindness among her family and lessons on how life should be lived. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday, July 17 from 2-6PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Kay’s life and faith will be held at St. Andrew R.C. Church, Westwood, NJ on Monday, July 18 at 11AM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Kay’s name to the American Cancer Society.
