Mrs.D was one of the most kind, caring teachers I've ever had. Her humor and energy made every class with her a joy. I'll miss her dearly.

I can still hear her laughter as we joked at so many ice hockey games together.

Karen was one of the very best. I remember the first day I met her and knew that she had what it would take to be able relate to and help kids. She was a fantastic teacher and role model and her loss will be felt by so many who have know her and all of those who will now never get to know here.

Mrs. D was one of my and my brother's favorite teachers at BA. She always used to make us laugh no matter what and her laugh was so infectious we couldn't help but laugh with her.

I'll never forget the day she confiscated someone's phone, and then used it to call every student in school who was on the contact list. She then proceeded to go to their classrooms and catch them on the phone and confiscate it. This is what happened during class and it was so funny. And the jokes she used to make about the seniors at every graduation was epic. Not to mention she remembered every student she ever had. 

I'll miss you Mrs. D, you made BA fun. My thoughts and prayers go out to your husband and children and family.

Mrs. DeSalvatore was one of the very few people that can make a person laugh every day inside of the classroom. And for that, and many other reasons, I love her. Thank you for making me smile every day of my senior year.

What I will remember of my favorite cousin is what I also remember of her mother, my favorite Aunt. Her sense of humor, always a big smile and easy laugh.Love and prayers to Jim, Anthony and Nick. Rest in Peace.

Mrs. D was my son's (Niko) favorite teacher.  He is very sad to learn of her passing and that he cannot make it to her service (currently serving in the Army).
