Jerome F. Dubrowski

DUBROWSKI , Jerome Francis Joseph. Born on May 11, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. He attended Immaculate Heart of Mary elementary school, Saint Michael’s High School and graduated from St. John’s University with a Degree in Finance, C.P.A. Jerry served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1953. Before retiring, he was Vice- President and Treasurer for Lewis Dreyfus Corp. in Wilton, CT. He was an active member of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Woodcliff Lake and a Counter and Eucharistic Minister for over 20 years. Jerry was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus and was a volunteer at Pascack Valley Hospital for 10 years. He is survived by his wife Ethel (Douglas) of 63 years. Children Robert and Margaret, James and Susan, Kathleen and Richard McArdle, Kenneth and Arlene, Jerome, Jr. and Renee, Thomas and Elizabeth. He is predeceased by his brother William. Loving grandfather of Chelsea, Jonathan, Katie, Megan, Matthew, Kelley, Alyson, Molly, Sara, Casey, Douglas, Lewis, Brandon and Devin. Great grandfather of Cooper, Grady, and Cecilia Fransen, Peter and Sophia Burns. Visitation at the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Tuesday at 9:00 am followed by a mass at Our Lady Mother of the Church at 10:00 am. Interment Ascension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
