James T. Hayden

HAYDEN, James T., 87, on Friday, on Friday, January 27, 2017 of Westwood. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Healy). Devoted father of James; Christopher and wife Eileen; Laura Lee Daniels and husband Mark; Jean Marie Haworth and husband Kenneth. Dear brother of the late Robert Hayden. Loving grandfather of Robert, Daniel, James, Christopher, Connor and Nicole Hayden; Sarah Daniels; Kyle Hayden; Mark and Matthew Daniels; Riley and Patrick Haworth.

Born in Bronx, NY, he lived in Westwood for the last 50 years. James was a printer with the International Typographic Union, NYC and later worked as a letter carrier for the Westwood Post Office. James served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion in Westwood.

Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Monday 6-9 pm. A Mass will be held on Tuesday at the R.C. Church of the Assumption, Emerson at 10:00 am, followed by an entombment in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
