Condolences to all the Riotto family: Brother Joel; Realtor, sons Gary J.  and Dr.  Anthony M. and Mrs.  Andrea Riotto  and their children Isabella and Anthony, and former wife Bunny.    As   fellow Realtors, Barbara and Lawrence Hoyns, DBA Muriel Speer Realtors In Montvale NJ our office 1 Mile North, we had the most cordial relationship in both Real Estate and Insurance matters.  We also had the pleasure of doing Realtor business with both of his parents and brother.  Gary's  attention to detail and expert knowledge in protection of property rights for clients and customers is a model for new and present Realtors.   We will miss him and may the Lord bless and keep you.

I was THS class of '63 and played football with Gary. He was a real good halfback and made football fun. He had a habit of singing thru practice. I can hear him now singing, "I must have been a beautiful baby, I must have been a beautiful child" so funny.

Condolences to the Riotto family.  I knew Gary and his former wife Bunny back in the days of 'cruisin' the drag' in Hackensack... 1967... and the Riotto's and my wife Marie were friends for many years afterwards.  Gary accompanied my wife to meet me at Newark Airport when I came back from Vietnam in 1969.  He was holding my daughter Susan, who was just 6 months old at the time! 

Time and the Circle of Life had moved us all in different directions, but I do recall all the great fun times we had in Hackensack, hanging out at McDonald's in River Edge,  the diner on Kinderkamack Road in Oradell for midnight coffee.   One of our biggest treats was watching Gary do his karate kicks on Main Street, launching him self high up in the air.  And of course there were all the great times we had as our kids were growing up.  Gary was a good friend, a good man, and good role model.   May his kind soul rest in peace.

Gary was a fun person and also very caring.  He will be missed.  My condolences to his family and Joel.  

To the Riotto family,

  Sincere condolences from his friends at Wendys who he had lunch with the last few years.   We too got to know his love of his sons and grandchildren whom he would show pictures of and tell us about his love of wrestling and coaching and of how proud he was of them.  He would tell us so often that the stories are ingrained in our memories.   He was an easy going guy and like the other messages here relate, always was smiling.  We will miss is presence at lunch and he will not be forgotten.

On behalf of all of his THS62 Classmates, I offer condolences on Gary’s passing.  We all shared classes, football and wrestling, many laughs, and our periodic reunion gatherings....and we too will miss him.  It’s always a shock when one of us goes. 
I know from our conversations how much he loved his family, and the great joy he received from working with his wrestling team over the decades.
