Pamela Gail Thomas, born January 11th 1956, to Ed and Bernice Evans, left this world, without pain, at 6:40 PM on January 17th 2020.
She attended Westminster High School where she excelled in the current lost arts of home economics. Skills that soon would come in handy and a precursor to her life's passion; her family. Pam, as she preferred to be called, was married on September 17th, 1977 to her devoted husband Stephen Thomas. Shortly after she began her journey of what some would say was her true calling, motherhood. While continuing to work as a phone operator for retail giants, hotels, and in hospitals in admittance, she created a supportive, loving, Christian home for her husband and four children. A home filled with love, music, laughter, and good food. Where everyone was welcomed with a warm embrace.
Her tenacious spirit and overwhelming love of life and those in it forced her to never give up her fight against the cancer that began her physical decline. Her hope and her faith kept her fighting and teaching us lessons of determination, love, and resilience beyond measure. A true warrior in all aspects. Pam's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those left behind: the husband she first fell in love with 42 years ago and continued to fall for over and over again, her four children, Sarah, Leah, Stephen, and Charles, all who she gave everything for, her four additional children brought to her through marriage, Jaime, Steve, Michelle, and Candice, who she treated as her own, and her beloved grandchildren, those she could never say "no" to without shedding tear, along with her vast extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on January 24th, 2020 at 2:30 PM at the Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary in Westminster, CA for all who would like to pay respects and celebrate the beautiful life Pam shared with us all.
