He is survived by his half-sisters Debra Hood Grayley and Sherida Arnold and her two children, half-brother Mark Arnold and his two children, a niece Rashelle and nephew Michael Jr. the children of half-sister Michelle, aunt Bonita Squire, cousin Robin Squire, and other relatives including La Rena Caldwell of Vernal, Utah.
Erwin was preceded in death by his parents Erwin Henry Arnold, Sr. and Dorothy Ann Arnold Cherney (Squire) of Seal Beach, California, maternal grandparents, Russel and Lorna Squire of Vernal, Utah, paternal grandparents, Harold Arnold, Sr. and Ida Arnold, half-sister Michelle Arnold Aviani, and Uncle Lyle "Sid" Squire. He will be missed by his family, close friend Sarah Goldstein and extended family, Alin and Valerie Hamade and their children.
Erwin was born at Long Beach Community Hospital on September 8, 1969, and was a long-time resident of Seal Beach, California.
As a child, Erwin was a Cub Scout and enjoyed spending summers visiting his maternal grandparents in Vernal, Utah. As an adult he wrote about world and political events. He graduated from Los Alamitos High School in 1988.
Erwin's memorial service will be held at noon on February 7, 2023 at 12pm, at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683 in the Main Chapel with interment to immediately follow, and then reception in Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary hospitality room.
