I will miss you, my dear! Until will meet again, farewell! 

Charel, it hurts so much that you are no longer here with us. I’m still waiting on a reply to the last text message I sent you. I walk into the gym, expecting to see you sitting on the bleachers.  When coaching Jaz, I still hear your voice on the court. It just isn’t the same without you. We miss your beautiful soul and vibrant energy. I was so blessed to have known you and to have had you in my life! Truly come across people like you once in a lifetime. So selfless and so full of life. I know you’re in heaven, watching down on all of us now. Just know anything your family needs, my family will be here. We love and miss you so so much Charel. 

Charel, I still can’t believe your no longer here. My heart is in disbelief but I know your watching over us. I will miss you my friend. Your crazy self . Thank you for being a part of my life and for being my friend. I’ll love you forever friend ❤️‍🩹  Till we meet again 

Miss you friend. I’m so incredibly sad and in perpetual denial that you are gone.   How is this possible when we had just messaged each other 4 days before.??  It just isn’t fair.  But in all of this grief, I know that heaven gained your amazing spirit, laughter, and love.  I was blessed to have known you here on earth and even more blessed that you are now an angel watching over all of us, especially your incredible family.  

There are not words that can adequately express the deep and heartfelt sadness your passing has brought to our families.  You were taken from this world too soon and without warning.  We're so thankful to have nearly 40 years of wonderful memories filled with you from the little girl across the street to the amazing woman across the country.

You were one of a kind - filled with so much love, passion and "je ne sais quoi" and will no doubt be deeply missed by anyone who was blessed to have crossed your path.

It pains me to know that I am writing my forever goodbye to you.  Life is so unfair when you have so much left to live and give!  I am so glad  and blessed to have known you this lifetime, you have been one of my greatest friend.  I will never forget the good times we shared. Charel was truly a blessing to have known in my life. You will be missed, Charel.

Charel planned this bonfire sometime in July, all our families, friends, and co-workers gathered together to remember Charel. She loved her bonfires. It was all for the kids and her way of getting everyone together. Bonfires to be continued every year as she planned.
