John W. “Jack” Colleran of Thousand Oaks California passed away on March 10, 2022, after a four-month battle with lung cancer. He was born in Youngstown Ohio and graduated from John Carrol University with a business degree. Jack had a 33-year career with General Motors, helping new car dealers start businesses. He went on to have a successful consulting practice through his passing.
Jack met Jackie Lawrence while roller skating in 1958 and they wed in 1960 in Cleveland Ohio. Jack and Jackie went on to have three children Mike, Lisa, Tim. They moved throughout the country with GM and settled in California for good in 1979.
Jack and Jackie spent much of their later years doing volunteer work supporting organ donation, relaxing on their back patio, and hiking. They developed a love for travel, visiting over twenty countries and across the United States. Jack was predeceased by his wife Jackie and his parents, Bill and Winnie. He is survived by his sister Barb, his children Mike, Lisa and Tim, their spouses Cary, Linda and Shawn, his eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation is at 5pm, March 26th at Pierce Brothers in Westlake Village California.
