A native of Minnesota, he was born on April 24, 1931. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy. Sometime following his service to our country, he relocated to California and was employed as a field engineer.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Kim Lillian Delaney; two loving children (he shared with his first wife), Terry Delaney and Chris Delaney; 5 cherished grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Up until the last six months of his life, George and his wife enjoyed daily early mornings rounds of golf at Wood Ranch Country Club. They were both members of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church and faithfully volunteered their assistance at the Saturday evening mass until George was to ill to participate.
