Ethel Jeanne McBride

It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Ethel Jeanne McBride, beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, who went peacefully to be with the Lord on December 5, 2024, at the age of 92. We take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her cherished husband, John McBride, in the loving embrace of their Savior.

Ethel was a woman of strong faith, always putting God at the center of her life. Her devotion to the Lord guided her through every season, and she lived her life with love, kindness, and grace. Her faith shaped her family, and her example of compassion, generosity, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.

As a devoted wife, Ethel shared many beautiful years with her husband, building a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Together, they raised a large family and went on to have many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ethel was a loving mother and grandmother, whose heart knew no bounds. Her love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable, and she took great pride in their lives and accomplishments.

Ethel was also an adventurer at heart, embracing the world with a spirit of exploration. Whether traveling near or far, she found joy in every new experience. Yet, it was in the comfort of her own home that she truly shone—her kitchen was always warm with the love she poured into her meals, and her love of movies was a cherished pastime she shared with her family.

Ethel’s memory will live on through her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren and her many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John McBride.
