Edward Berger passed away, at the age of 91, on July 26, 2021 at his home in Bell Canyon, California. He is survived by daughters Kathy Schaeffer and Annette Berger, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His beloved wife, Mildred Berger, predeceased him on March 1, 2018. Edward and Mildred were married for 65 years.
Edward was born on March 1, 1930, in Los Angeles, California. He attended George Washington High School, Los Angeles City College, and earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the USC School of Pharmacy.
After Edward and Mildred moved to the San Fernando Valley in the late 1950’s, he opened his own business, Park West Pharmacy. After several years, he sold Park West and purchased Warner Victory Pharmacy. After Edward and Mildred both retired, they traveled extensively, participating in several bike rides throughout Europe. They also enjoyed spending time with other family members at their mountain cabin in Mariposa Pines, California.
Edward will be remembered for his work ethic and professionalism throughout his career in pharmacy. He was a cherished husband and father, who always put his family first.
