Colleen Marie Grogan was born in Porum, Oklahoma, January 30, 1927, to Star and Elsie Largent. She was the oldest daughter of 9 children. She had 7 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Toni Castellano and Brenda Joseph, 2 grandchildren, Gina Marie Holmes and Michael Castellano, and 2 great grandchildren, Luke and Austin Holmes.
After graduating from high school, the family moved to McFarland, California. Colleen attended and graduated college in Bakersfield. Soon thereafter she married Clayton Grogan. She lost her beloved husband in 1997 and lived out the remainder of her life in the Calabasas area.
She spent the last moments of her life with her loving family present and passed in peace on July 3, 2012.
