Barbara Virginia Leonard of Camarillo, California, and born February 28, 1926 in Massachusetts, passed away October 30, 2020 in Camarillo. In addition to being a devoted nurse at the Veteran’s hospital for over 20 years, Barbara was known for her supreme scrabble skills which she honed through many rounds with her daughter-in-law. Barbara also loved camping and was proud of her graduation from tent camping to RV camping. She also loved square dancing with her husband of 60 years, John, who passed away in 2009. Together, Barbara and John had three kids who all survived her, Andrea, David, and Robert, and four grandkids Barbara absolutely adored. Barbara also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs. Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
