MaryAnne Burke Babinec

MaryAnne was full of life and love, and touched the lives of many that came to know her. She had an unwavering faith in God, and found comfort in sharing His Word to others. Her favorite hymns were “How Great Thou Art” and “In the Garden”.

MaryAnne’s passion for people was immeasurable. She had a quick wit, and brought smiles and laughter to any room. MaryAnne loved watching golf, and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. She was also involved in many group activities at O’Neill Healthcare, Bay Village. She enjoyed her Bible study, book club, playing bingo, and would never turn down an opportunity for a game of cards. MaryAnne was VP of Resident Council, and also looked forward to leading the exercise group for the residents every morning.

Beloved wife of Albert Babinec (deceased), and Frank Lawrence (deceased). Loving mother of Elizabeth Meczka (Gary), Frank Lawrence (Lauren) and Catherine Pignatiello. Stepmother of Mike (Gina), Ken (Nancy), Pete (Debbie), Mark (deceased), Terri Martin (Sean), Lynda Wiech (Ryan). Loving Grandmother of Gerard Meczka, Geoff Meczka (Brittany), Grant Meczka (Leslie), Kelly Forney (Brent), Jonathan Lawrence, Emily Pignatiello and Aaron Pignatiello. Great Grandma of Ellie and Easton Meczka. Step-Grandma and Step-Great Grandma of many.

Memorial Mass to be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 25801 Royalton Rd, Columbia Sta., OH on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Luncheon at the church to follow. Private Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
