She was born on February 10, 1931 in Evangeline, Louisiana to parents Adros Daigle and Eula Guidry Daigle.
Wava made an impact on everyone she met with her positivity and strong spirit.
She enjoyed managing Pousson's, the local family owned washateria and Barber & Beauty shop.
Wava loved to read, and sew, but most of all her faith, and her family. Despite her large family she always made time for everyone.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Anthony Pousson, her daughter, Debra Ann Norris, and Sheila Mae Alleman, her siblings; Lloyd Daigle, Edjus Daigle, Hayes Daigle, Floyd Daigle, and Dora Bertrand.
Those left to cherish her memories include her children; Janice Lee Pousson Goodloe, Antoinette Pousson Little, Anthony Pousson, Jr., Donna Marie Pousson and boyfriend Mark, her grandchildren; Anthony Peter Bruno Ill, Joshua Lee Little and wife Christine, Candy Jane Norris, Felicia Ann Alleman, Tiffany Noel Heller, Jude Anthony Richard, Adam Dale Richard, Cindy Renae Brantley and husband Justin, Carol Ann Norris, Devin Scott Cornett,
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Dominic Anthony Bruno, Brianna Renae Bryant, Zia Frank Bryant, Ethan Dean Bryant, Elijah Kyle Richards, Myles Grey Richards, Shyann Renee Richards, Triston Cade Pace, Cody James Swire, Syrenity Ann Marie Swire, Amyah Justice Swire, Nova Sky Swire, Leum Alexander Swire, Braidy Issac Heller, Erica Romero and husband Logan, Chase Phillips, Collin Earley and wife Kira,
her great-great-grandchildren; Peyton Romero, Kennedy Romero, Riley Romero, Carolina Earley, as well as her sister-in-law Joann Daigle.
The family will welcome the public for visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 5pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Friday, January 19, 2024 at 9am until 10:45am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church at 11am. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
