On November 30, 2022, Stephen Craig Rogers, age 58, of Westlake, Louisiana went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lake Charles, La. on March 26, 1964. Stephen was a loving Husband, Father, Pappy, Son, Brother and Friend. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to camp, fish, hunt, and spend time in the "Piney Woods" he loved so much. Stephen was a craftsman that could build or create most anything he imagined. Mostly, he loved the Lord, loved studying God's word and sharing his knowledge with others.
Stephen was a graduate of Westlake High School Class of 1982, and then went on to graduate from McNeese State University with a Bachelor's Degree. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church where he served on the financial committee. Stephen was a longtime employee of Sasol North America as an I&E Supervisor.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Mike Rogers.
Family serving as Pallbearers will be Grant Rogers, Shane Menard, Andrew Bragg, Matthew Turner, Ryan Bossier, Billy Fast and Paul Davis.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Donna Martin Rogers of Westlake, La., Son, Grant Stephen Rogers of Westlake, La., Daughters, Madison Menard and husband Shane, Maci Bragg and husband Andrew, Marlee Rogers all of Ragley, La., and Whitney Bossier and husband Ryan of Lafayette, La., Mother, Ellen Johnson Rogers of Westlake, La., Sisters, Renee Davis and husband Paul of San Antonio, Tx., and Tami Fast and husband Billy of Westlake, La., Grandchildren, Ellie, Kane, Acen, Anna Claire, Tritan, Amelia and Preslee and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Monday, December 5, 2022, from 8:00 AM until time of service. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, December 5, 2022, at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel of Westlake with Rev. Jaceson Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery, Westlake, La.
The family greatly appreciates the love, support and prayers. A special thanks to Christus Hospice and Palliative Care, St. Patrick. Stephen was touched and humbled by so many.
