Betty Lou Sons Dinger

Betty graduated from Westlake High School in 1961. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and anything outdoors. She especially loved music and to dance.

She is survived by her son, Rodney Dinger of Westlake; daughter, Melissa Dinger Nichols and husband Mike of Crosby, Texas; step-son, Randy Dinger of Morgan City, LA; step-daughter, Christine Dinger Flores and husband John of Patterson, LA; sister, Nickie Sons Dinger of Ragley; numerous nieces and nephews; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Varnell “Fizz” Dinger; and her parents, Arthur and Mary Sons.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Bro. Mike Nichols will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Westlake Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake.
