1965-2021
Tracy Ray Jackson, son of Narvin Ray and Evera Jackson, passed away January 15, 2021 at St. Marks Hospital due to a massive stroke and complications to COVID. Tracy was born April 20, 1965 as a surprise to my parents on our Dad’s birthday. Every year the Celebration consisted of cake and pie as they each had their favorites.
Tracy loved many things but above it, all were his two sons, TR & Alex, whom he spoke of with love, pride and joy. He had a big heart and turned that to others always calling just to check in on you and see if everything was okay.
He is survived by his sons: Tracy Ray Jr. (TR), Alex Jackson; several grandchildren; mother, Evera Jackson; siblings: Troy Jackson, Jandeen McLean, Kimberlee Kropf and nieces and nephews who all love and miss him. Tracy is preceded in death by his father, Narvin Ray Jackson and his best friend, Chad Reeves, who he has missed for many years.
As Tracy passed, we are sure that our Dad was holding his hand from the other side of the veil as our Mom held his hand on this side of the veil. Mom said, “I was there when he came into this world and I will be there for him as he leaves us. “If only our eyes could have witnessed the true exchange as our parents, on each side of the veil held his hands to help his transition back to our Loving Father in Heaven.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park located at 4400 W 4100 S, West Valley City, Utah.
Our hearts are broken as he was taken from us so unexpectedly, but our hearts rejoice at the reunion he is having on the other side. God be with you until we meet again, Tracy. All our love, your family.
