1915 ~ 2012
Ralph Edward Allison, age 97, passed away July 19, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ralph was born July 10, 1915 in Great Falls, Montana to Ralph Cornelius Allison
and Vera Valentine Allison. He was married to Dorothy Hodge on June 20, 1936;
they had a son, Ralph C. Allison, Dorothy later passed away. He married Janet
Snedecor on August 15, 1956; she later passed away. He married Florence Lepley on
February 14, 1992; she also later passed away. Ralph E. is survived by his son Ralph
C. Allison age 72, grandchildren, Barbara A. Allison age 51, Edward J. and wife Sherri
Allison age 49, Patti A. Williams age 47; 13 great grandchildren and 15 great great-
grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Two brothers Thomas and Herbert, by his
three beloved wives, 3 great grandsons, Ralph C. Allison, Nathel J. Allison and Edward
J. Allison JR.
Ralph served as Corner during WW2, then became Havre Hospital Administrator,
He then moved the family to California where He worked for Bank of America, His
wife Dorothy passed in California.
He then married Janet and moved back to Montana were they lived and ranched until
Janet passed.
He then moved to West Valley City, Utah this is where he married Florence, they
were members of St Matthews Lutheran Church. She passed in 2001 of Alzheimer’s
and Grandpa did the Alzheimer’s walk up until the age of 95 and stayed active with
Silverado Senior Living. He stayed living in their house until health issues caused a
change in Aug of 2011 He moved to Golden Assisted Living until April of 2012, Health
reasons put Him at Aspen Park Rehabilitation Center, where He passed on Tuesday
with his friends, grandson and a wonderful Nurse at His side.
Ralph was a member of the Free Masons AF&AM for 68 years in Euclid #58 and
Chinook #50, York Rite Member in Great Falls (Chapter & Council) and Havre
(Commandery). He was also involved in the Montana Eastern Star for many years
with Janet.
He will be missed by all that knew him & Loved Him!
Funeral Services for Ralph will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St.
Matthews Lutheran Church, 2654 West 5200 South. The family will receive friends
Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West
4100 South; and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Church.
