On Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 we lost our dear mom, wife, grandma, and great-grandma, Patricia (Pat) Clark. Pat was born on April 7th, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, and within a few years moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.
We’ll remember our grandma for the endless smile on her face, her appreciative nature, and her ‘burnt & smokey’ cooking style. While she didn’t create culinary masterpieces (aside from her well-known stuffing), her humble approach to cooking has given us priceless, laughable memories we will cherish forever.
You could walk into her welcoming home to find her sipping a cup of coffee with yet another novel in hand at the kitchen table. The endless candy bowl she had held our appetites down before the usual family BBQ.
When she wasn’t reading or spending time with her family, she was very talented and immersed herself in new hobbies, like ceramics.
Survived by her children, Chris Westover and David (Leesha) Clark. Her sister, Barrie Frankland, her grandchildren Lateesha, Nick (Laurie), Shane, and Tyler, and great-grandchildren Neo and Nico.
We wish her time with us could have lasted much longer, but we take comfort knowing she is now with her husband of over 49 years, David Clark, her parents, Ken & Lillian Barrett, and her beloved pet, Mojo.
