Madeline Muriel Wilson

Madeline Muriel Wilson, age 90, passed away February 23, 2012 in West Valley City, Utah.

Madeline was born December 9, 1921 in Great Falls, Montana to Ezra William Wilson and Loma Phoebe Baune Wilson. She married Hughey W. Wilson on May 10, 1941 in Yuma, Arizona. Their marriage was later solemnized in the L.D.S. Salt Lake Temple in 1958. Madeline was a wonderful Wife and Mom. She was an excellent Cub Scout Den Mother, and she later on responded to various callings in the L.D.S. Church. Most importantly, she was the loving mom and primary caregiver to a special needs child, Kevin, for forty-nine years. Madeline is survived by her sons, Timothy Wilson of Salt Lake City and H. Ray Wilson of West Valley City; sister, Blanche Case of Braidwood, IL; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hughey W. Wilson, and son, Kevin Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park
