Linda Joyce Sillitoe passed away Friday December 3rd 2021. Linda was born October 28 1961 to Herman Lassche Jr and Carole Lassche. She grew up in Utah and raised her son in this beautiful state. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She always made time for her friends and prioritized her family above all else. She was an exceptional grandma, always eager to make her granddaughter smile or laugh, and so proud to show her off. She was a loving mother, always going the extra mile to support her son. Linda’s smile was infectious, and her heart was so big. She was selfless and always put others needs first. Linda valued a good work ethic and spent many years working for American Express, where she was employee of the month and often honored for her hard work, and then Superior Water and Air. Linda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she enjoyed teaching primary classes and going to relief society meetings. Linda had a lifelong passion for gymnastics, she herself was a skilled gymnast and in later years she supported the Lady Utes going to every meet she could. Linda was an animal lover and spent her free time walking her dog Ember, going to movies with her friends and having dinner with her son and his family. She leaves behind her son Colton Sillitoe, daughter in law Jessica Sillitoe, granddaughter Ophelia Sillitoe, her mother Carole Lassche, sisters Charlotte Santiago, and Wendy Northrup, brothers Greg Lassche, Sherman Lassche, and Daniel Lassche, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Linda was a ray of sunshine for many people, she made our lives better for being in it. Rest in peace, you will be missed.
Linda’s viewing will be this Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home located at 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City. Funeral services will follow at the same location at 1:00 p.m.
