Laura Kaye Stapley

Laura Kaye Stapley passed away on November 30th, 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born June 3rd, 1945 in Logan, Utah to William James Hall and Lorna Hill Myers Hall. She attended Utah State. Laura married Paul N. Stapley on February 2, 1968 in Logan, Utah.

Laura was a wonderful mother and wife. She was born in Logan, Utah and grew up on her parents’ farm in Hyrum, Utah. She loved to work outside and greatly enjoyed working in her garden in the summertime and making salsa. An avid Utah Jazz fan, she would never miss watching a game. Laura was a great puzzle solver whether it was word puzzles, jumbles, crosswords or jigsaws, she never met a puzzle she couldn’t solve. Laura was wonderful at crafts. She loved to sew and crochet and always made her daughters beautiful handmade Christmas gifts. She worked for the same company as a bookkeeper for a property management company for over 20 years.

Laura is survived by her husband Paul; daughters Jeanie, Sherry, Tamra, and her siblings Ranae Richards (Rod), Karen Wickham, Stan Hall (Janet), and Rhonda Pitcher (Dale).

Laura was preceded in death by her parents William J Hall and Lorna Hill Myers Hall; her sister Juanita Appel, and brother-in-law Lamoine Wickham.

A Graveside service will be held Monday December 11th at 12:00pm at Valley View Memorial Park. 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
