She is the oldest of seven daughters. Janet was married to Richard H. Bertoch from 1958 to 1961. They had two children, Sheri and Glenn. In 1962, Janet married Robert L. Johnson, where a second daughter, Edie was born. Sheri and Glenn were lovingly adopted by Bob who has cared for them as his own. In addition to their three children, Bob & Janet cared for and
helped raise many more during their 56 years of marriage. Bob and Janet were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1978. Their love and devotion for each other and their family and friends is an example to us all. Janet made lifelong friends with everyone she met. It would be hard to count the number of cookies that she made for those she loved throughout her life.
Janet is survived by her husband, Robert, (Bob), 3 children, Sheri (Joe Holden), Glenn (Kimberly), Edie (Mike Hovermale), 12 grandchildren, 12 gr grandchildren, and 5 sisters. Janet is preceded in death by her parents Dorthy and Jett and her sister Una. A viewing will be held for Janet at Valley View Memorial on Friday, April 13 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM located at 4335 W. 4100 S. in West Valley. Funeral Services
for Janet will be held Saturday, April 14 at 10:00 AM at the LDS Church located 6364 S. 3200 W. West Jordan, UT. A viewing will precede the funeral service at 9:00 AM. The graveside service will follow the
funeral at Valley View Memorial. Special thanks to her greatest angel caretaker, (her husband Bob), and so
many other family, neighbors, friends, medical professionals and hospice caretakers who blessed Janet with love and service.
