Dorothy was born on March 8, 1928, in Valley City, North Dakota. Her parents were Everett Griffin Noble and Josie LaVerne Wylie Noble. She married Russell Martin Ramseth on March 28, 1948, in Tacoma, WA. Dorothy left this earth peacefully on May 20, 2014, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and a close friend to many. She was a devoted and active member of Trinity United Methodist Church for fifty years. She sang in the choir and served in numerous other ministries. Her life theme was I Corinthians 13, the love chapter of the Bible. Her smiles and laughter would light up a room, and she will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her son, Donald Ramseth, and daughters, Cathryn Liehr (husband Kenneth) and Pamela Lane (husband David), and six grandchildren: Jodi Talbot, Candice Lynn, Michael Lively, Jr., Crystal Glenn, Kevin Lively and Amanda Terrell, as well as seven great grandchildren. Her husband, Russell, preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 2001.
There will be a viewing on May 27 from 6:00pm–8:00pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, UT.
