Charlie was born on June 17, 1941 in Yuma, Arizona to Vivian and Adolph (Boots) Langenegger. He attended public school until his Junior year and decided to join the Army. He served at Dugway Proving Grounds for 3 and 1/2 years. During his time there he married Mary Jo and they had four children: Tracy Lebronte, Jame Langenegger, Whitney Burrows, and Preston Langenegger. The marriage ended in divorce. Four years later he married Sharon and had another son, Jonathan Langenegger.
Charlie loved the Lord with everything in him. He never did good in school but he loved to study the word of God. He loved to talk to people. He had a gift of encouraging people. He never met a stranger. He would talk to everyone at anytime. When people met him they never forgot him. He loved the challenge of fixing things without spending money.
He is survived by his wife: Sharon Langenegger; his sons: James langenegger, Preston Langenegger, and Jonathan Langenegger; and his daughters: Tracy LeBronte and Whitney Burrows; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father: Adolph Langenegger; mother: Vivian Langenegger; and brothers: David Langenegger, Bobby Langenegger, and Joe Langenegger.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 23 at 11:00 am. It will be held at Intermountain Baptist Church, 4770 S 1900 W, Taylorsville, UT. Everyone is welcome to attend.
