Bradley Giles Sharp, age 71, passed away on July 8, 2020 in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on March 23, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Milton Giles Sharp and Virginia Jane Hug. He graduated from Grant High School in Portland, Oregon and later attended BYU.
He married Sandra Fox in January of 1972 and was later divorced. He married Deanna Knighton Lewis on March 10, 1999 and shortly after they were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple.
Brad is a superman. At age 17 he was diagnosed with kidney disease and along with two kidney transplants, Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, heart failure and many other health challenges he surpassed his original prognosis of not surviving past the age 30. Brad was an artist, displaying his talents in pen and ink drawings, water colors, oil paintings and photography. In spite of his health issues Brad really loved his children and grandchildren and was so proud of their accomplishments!! He loved doing things with them like playing chess, swimming, attending their baptisms, hiking and traveling, and talking with them about anything and everything. Brad is a man of great integrity and provided service to others when his health permitted.
Brad is survived by his wife, Deanna; children Trevor (Becca) Sharp, April Krebs, former son-in-law Shawn Krebs, Summerlee Hanchett, Lindsey (Scott) Anderson, Thayne (Brooklyn) Sharp, Rachel (Jason) Whiting; stepchildren Aaron (Alli) Lewis and Megan (James) Pearce; sisters Syliva Smith and Sonja (Steve) Lovas; sister-in-law Wendy Sharp and 24 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Grant and brother-in-law, Ernie.
Brad requested no funeral services. Due to Covid 19 Brad is unable to have his body donated per his request and will be cremated.
