Bill Ray Neil

He married Pamela Joyce Williams on May 10, 1974, and they were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on May 10, 1980. Bill loved his family and serving others. He dedicated much of his time to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a servant of the Lord. He was influential to many youth through church and the community sports programs. He was a fixture in Salt Lake County recreation programs for over 40 years. Bill made it a priority to attend as many games as possible for his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Survived by sons: William Scott Garcia (Charlotte) of West Valley City, UT, Jeffrey Paul Garcia (Bonnie) of Eagle Mountain, UT, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren all who loved him and will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Joyce Neil.

A special thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, and Salt Lake County transportation specialists who took care of our father over these last few years especially Fresenius Kidney Care, Jordan Valley Medical Center West, and Copper Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility and Canyon Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Granger Ward meeting house: 2850 West 3835 South West Valley City, UT at 11 am. Family and friends may call Friday, June 4, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home: 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT, and also one hour prior to services at the church.
