Betty Lou Talbot

1924 ~ 2011

Betty Naish Peck Talbot, age 87, passed away November 1, 2011. She was born October 6, 1924 to Farrell W. Naish and Lena Woods Naish in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She married Wallace Peck, they later divorced; she later married Earl Talbot. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Being raised as an only child, she loved the laughter and love of a large family. She loved big family reunions, and told us they must continue. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a big smile for everyone. She loved collecting Betty Boop items, donkeys and beer cans. She enjoyed going to Ghost Towns. Betty is survived by her loving children, Jeanne, Bonnie (Gary), Penny (Calvin), Terry (Cindy) and “Pepper” Bryan (Janet). She had 8 children, 24 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and 2 more on the way. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Farrell Jr., sister, Lorey, and 3 sons, Dennis, Billy and Bobby.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
