Alice, born on September 1, 1937 to Hattie Kinnaman and Rollins Shepherd in Montrose, Colorado, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. After graduating from high school, Alice went on to pursue a career in sales auditing and worked for ZCMI until her retirement. She met Hugh Lionel Rogers and was married December 24, 1959. Alice and Hugh were married for 35 years and had three sons, David (Tammy), John (Christy), and Lynn.
Alice was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all three of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Alice, a value she instilled in all those around her. Alice accomplished much in her lifetime; 20 years in scouting and cub scouts. She earned the "Duty of God" award. She spent 18 months in an LDS mission after retiring from ZCMI. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
Alice was predeceased by her parents, husband, and siblings: Floyd, Alvin, Warren, Merle, Ruth, Elma, Wilma, Audrea, Ester. She is survived by her siblings: Kenneth, Norman, Beulah; sons; grandchildren: Terrel, Danika, Karha, Kristen, Krystal, Kayla, Xander; and great-grandchildren: Oak, Ariana, Kaiden, Sariya, Connor, Mason, Tatum. Alice has a large extended family throughout the US that she would not want to go unrecognized for their love, support, and prayers in time of need.
